Confessions of a Pilates Teacher!

OK, I have to admit I’m feeling very guilty for not attending any Pilates classes for about four weeks! I won’t even try to make excuses for it…but I was on my holidays for two of them!

Anyway, I had a Pilates session this morning and couldn’t believe how quickly muscle strength and balance can be lost, especially in the abs….feeling a definite weakness on my left, Roll Like a Ball was more like Wobble like a weeble and after 3 reps I ended up completely off of my mat! How embarrassing and it just goes to show that regular Pilates classes are essential to maintain strength and balance to ensure continued progression.

…and I need to practice what I preach!
