Pilates Classes Wareham

We are now meeting up on Wednesday mornings for Pilates classes Wareham at The Springfield Hotel.

Have a look at the Springfield Leisure Club timetable. You don’t have to be a club member to join our Pilates Class in Wareham, everyone welcome.

There is plenty of free parking and the leisure club at the Springfield Hotel has a lovely bright and spacious studio with doors opening on to the gardens.

Kerry’s classes have an holistic approach whilst still embracing principles originally taught by Joseph Pilates.

There is a different theme each week, incorporating the six unique and fundamental principles of; Alignment, Centre, Breathing, Focus, Control and Flow.

Everything we do in the class is explained and Kerry is there for guidance throughout, so don’t worry if you haven’t been to a Pilates class before.

Kerry is particularly inspired by Yoga and regularly attends classes herself. She enjoys sharing some of this insiration with her groups. Earlier this year she completed the British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course. The course was taught by the amazing Hayley Gumery and Kerry loved it so much she has enrolled on to the Teacher Training course starting in January 2019!

Mats and small equipment are provided so all you need to bring is yourself. Make sure you wear clothing that you are comfortable to move in, including something long sleeved for warm up and cool down.

If you prefer to use your own mat please feel free to bring it along.

It’s your choice wether you wear socks but it is preferable to have bare feet. However on colder days you might prefer a bit more warmth.
